Les Hiett

Matthew Behum has been a parishioner at St. Lawrence for 10 years.  He is an active member and prayer committee lead for SIT St. Lawrence, the parish’s outreach ministry supporting persecuted Christians globally. Matt enjoys talking to interested groups about the plight of the persecuted, and he is excited to bring that passion to the parish pastoral council.
 
Originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania, Matt came to the area in 2005 through an Annapolis environmental consulting firm where he is a senior ecologist and corporate health and safety manager.  Matt has a BA in Environmental Biology from Colgate University, and an MS in Marine Science from the University of South Carolina. In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Sharon, and three children, Evan, Hannah, and Colin.

He has been a Parish Pastoral Council Member since July 2016.
