Fr. Andrew J. Conlon was ordained in 1907 by Cardinal James Gibbons in the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (then the Cathedral of Baltimore).
He was assigned in June of 1921 to be pastor of St. Lawrence-- then a mission church of St. Mary of the Mills in Laurel. From the Baltimore Sun on June 24, 1921:
Bishop Corrigan will announce in the Baltimore Catholic Review this week the promotion of the Rev. Andrew J. Conlon, assistant pastor of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church of Cumberland, to the pastorate of St. Lawrence Church of Jessup’s. It is expected that Father Conlon will be called upon to organize a parish where there is now a mission church connected with the parish in Laurel. It is understood that he will be chaplain of the House of Corrections.
He passed away on May 16, 1933.
