Covid – Safety Protocols Update
March 2023
St. Lawrence Martyr Parish strives to provide a safe worship environment. The updated COVID-19 Safety Protocols as follows:- Social Distancing of a minimum of 3 feet is requested
- Wearing of a facial mask is optional
- Additional seating has been added to the Gathering Hall in order to provide appropriate physical distancing.
- Hand Sanitization stations are available at all building entrances
CLOSE CONTACT REMINDER:
For the safety of all, please remember that if you have been in close contact (within 6 feet of a person for a period of 15 minutes in the aggregate over a 24-hour period) who has tested positive for COVID-19), please follow appropriate quarantine protocols and do not attend Mass or other activities until 10 days have passed since being exposed or you have received a negative test after waiting 5 days from the initial exposure. As always, please also do not attend Mass if you are experiencing symptoms, are awaiting test results, or have had close contact with someone who is experiencing symptoms even if they have not yet tested positive.
COVID-19 guidance for out of state travel applies. Anyone who travels out of state is strongly encouraged to get a COVID-19 test and quarantine upon their return. -

Below is the most current summary regarding parish operations of Saint Lawrence Martyr in compliance with the State of Maryland, local jurisdictions, and guidelines provided by the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
- As a result of Maryland Governor Larry Hogan’s most recent announcement lifting the indoor mask requirement, the wearing of masks is no longer mandated on parish campuses in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, unless it is required by the local jurisdiction. This is effective immediately. Wearing masks is still strongly encouraged for those who are not vaccinated. Social distancing of 3 ft. is still required inside of buildings. .
- Also, when in parish buildings, kindly observe directions on signage posted on doors and walls as to which areas are closed to the public. Again, we thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
- Public indoor Masses at the Parkside Campus:
- Daily Masses, Monday-Friday at 9:00 a.m. (limited seating capacity)
- 5:00 p.m. Vigil Mass (limited seating capacity)
- 8:00 a.m. Sunday Mass (limited seating capacity)
- 10:00 a.m. Sunday Mass (limited seating capacity)
- 12:00 p.m. Sunday Mass (limited seating capacity)
- At all times, proper physical distancing of no less than 3 feet must be observed. Parish staff will be on hand to help maintain all health and safety protocols.
- The Faithful are once again invited to attend Eucharistic Adoration on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (limited seating capacity; Adoration is no longer being streamed for home viewing). First Friday Adoration is being celebrated on First Fridays after daily Mass until 12:00 noon. Please continue to monitor our website, bulletin, and Facebook page for the scheduling of Adoration for future First Fridays.
- Confession: Saturdays, 4:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. in the Worship Space.
